Once again I'm moving the whole Unreal Software online infrastructure to a new server which has a better price/performance ratio and runs with newer tech. This affects all related websites such as UnrealSoftware.de, CS2D.com, CarnageContest.com, USGN.de etc and also the USGN itself. This means in-game login and server list.

DNS changes and other settings may take some time. I would therefore like to apologize for any downtimes that may occur. I will do my best to get everything back online as soon as possible.

⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR CS2D SERVER OWNERS
The U.S.G.N. master server changed as well. You will probably have to edit your sys/usgn.dat manually.
1. stop your servers
2. edit
sys/usgn.dat
(relative path to your cs2d binary unless you are using custom settings)
3. change the first line to
217.154.200.83|usgn.de

4. save the changes and restart the server.
If you don't do these changes, your server(s) will disappear from the list and user U.S.G.N. login won't work.

Not much. New v-server is 6€/month, old was 15€/month. Plus costs for all the domains which is in sum like 5-6€/month I guess. The time I invest definitely has a higher value.

Edit:
There still have been problems with sending mails. These have been fixed by now.

@user StirlizZ-Fapicon: Potato? You mean cookie? Still there. I didn't change anything on the website with the server move.

@user Hajt: I'm using Netcup for DE domains because they are pretty cheap there and sometimes have special offers with DE domains for like 1.56€ per year (0.13€ per month). My com domains are at Namesilo. My v-server however is at Strato. It's pretty reliable and according to reviews it has a better performance than Netcup. Domains are expensive there though and have limited DNS options (at least last time I tried which was several years ago).
